Study: Cannabis Relieves Pain for MS Patients
As The Toronto Star reports, a recent study by the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine found that “smoking marijuana can relieve muscle tightness, spasticity (contractions) and pain often experienced by those with multiple sclerosis”.

While the pain relieving properties of cannabis are something that no one in the medical marijuana community would ever dispute, it is reassuring to see a study done by a reputable university published in a major medical journal. We at BOTH hope that this will aid in the mainstream acceptance of cannabis as a medical treatment!
